## Why It Matters

It signals more Apple hardware is coming this year, but the leak says nothing about AI features.

## Key Findings & Analysis

### What leaked

The Verge reports that details and images found in Apple's own code by MacRumors contributor Aaron Perris point to three unannounced products: a new HomePod mini, the iPad mini 8, and an Apple TV 4K. The Verge says Apple is expected to announce more hardware before the end of the year, after the iPhone 18 Pro and folding iPhone Duo debuted earlier this month. The Verge describes the leak details as sparse; it says the HomePod Mini 2 will keep a design similar to the original that debuted in late 2020, though leaked images suggest different color options than the current orange, yellow, and blue. Note: the evidence names no AI features for any of these devices, so no AI angle can be reported.
